Yesterday I rode up and down the same climb 92 times to accumulate a little more than 29,029 vertical feet of elevation gain, or the height of Mt. Everest. My official time should be good enough for the 23rd fastest (recorded) time of all the maniacs in the world who have attempted this. (http://www.everesting.cc/hall-of-fame/)
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support me! Andy McClure, Philip Tinstman, Andres Stephenson, Brent Prenzlow, and a few other guys who I didn’t even know. Thanks to my pit crew (aka my fiance Janelle Zuk) for bringing me Dr Pepper and banana bread when I really needed it! Thanks to my family for the group text support! Thanks to my team Elite Team: h24cycling and all of our sponsors (Herbalife24, Nature’s Bakery, Marc Pro, Token Cycling, Jakroo Custom Apparel, Praxis Works, KTM Bike Industries, Wahoo Fitness, & more) for hooking us up with the best equipment, nutrition, and clothes that money can buy!
My motive for doing this ride was to bring some attention to my fundraising efforts for the Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer. If you don’t know much about it, you can ask me or see below. Anything helps. Seriously, anything. $5, $10, whatever you can spare.
