It’s official! The spring season is upon us, and that means a few things: a little more daylight (plus the time change!), evening group rides, warmer weather, and fun races. What’s not to love about spring? If you’ve been lagging behind on getting the miles in, there’s no better time than the present – enjoy the extra daylight and start building some fitness.
The team has been enjoying the spring races in Northern California like the Chico Stage Race, the Snelling Road Race, and more. Most recent was the Land Park Criterium, where the Sacramento area guys had fun with a local staple race.
The guys raced hard, covered breakaway attempts, and tried to make a few happen throughout the race.
In the end, the finish would come down to a group sprint, where Willie Myers led Matt Chatlaong through the final corner, about 500m from the finish. It was a very close sprint, but Leon Gledhill from Mike’s Bikes overtook Matt at the line for the win. Great race Leon!
